Most hoods have flat or shallow collection surfaces. The A837 features a deep, wide-angled cavity that creates a larger capture zone closer to your cooktop. This design effectively gathers smoke and steam at the source and reduces lateral spread, preventing fumes from escaping to your cabinets or into your open-concept living space before the hood can extract them.

The one-touch stir-fry function lets you set a custom timer from 2 to 15 minutes with a single button press. This is perfect for stir-frying, where you need maximum extraction for a precise duration. When the timer ends, the hood automatically returns to your previous speed setting—no need to remember to turn it down after the wok work is done.

The product copy indicates a 60-minute reminder interval, but this is likely a typo in the source material. Based on other ROBAM models, the intended reminder is likely every 60 hours of operation, which is standard across the R-Max and CleanAir series. The A837's reminder system ensures you never forget to clean the filters, maintaining consistent suction power and extending the hood's lifespan.

The A837 includes a 15-minute turbo function specifically designed for high-heat cooking like stir-frying. When activated, the hood runs at maximum 1200 CFM power for up to 15 minutes, then automatically returns to your previous setting. This prevents unnecessary energy use and noise once the intense cooking phase is complete.
